Putting aside the issue that it's not always practical to vent via a video game, there's matter of contextual relevance that makes Being Evil appealing.
Think of it as an additional way of being evil rather than putting the various techniques in competition. I want you to have every opportunity to be evil (without actually acting in an evil manner, of course).
